The next level of disposable vape performance by SKE Sikary S6000 vape?

8/26/2024, 11:11:45 AM 372

Famed in the UK for their Crystal Bar range of disposables, SKE are elevating the disposables game to the next level with the release of the SKE Sikary S6000 big puff disposable vape kit!

SKE has become an absolutely massive name within the vaping industry, mainly in part due to the Crystal Bar disposables, but they have also diversified into e-liquids too with the SKE Crystal Original range.

Sikary is a different brand line from SKE, separate from their famed Crystal range.

It focuses on delivering high quality pre-filled disposables, with seven different devices listed on their website, and the Sikary S6000 is the newest one to be released.

What Can We Expect From The SKE Sikary S6000?

You can expect up to 6000 puffs of award winning SKE e-liquid with the Sikary S6000 device!

This has a 2ml tank and comes with a 10ml pre-filled e-liquid container, with 20mg nicotine salt for fast acting craving relief and smooth throat hit.

The Sikary 6000 is designed to last around a weeks’ worth of vaping thanks to the huge amount of e-liquid that it contains!

An easy, leak-free install process allows you to simply snap in your e-liquid refill container, and it’s easy to check how much e-liquid you have left too, thanks to the ‘space capsule’ design that boasts a clear view of your juice capacity.

Built into the device is an 800mAh battery, to power you through long vaping sessions, and this can be recharged via USB-C. A mesh coil is also built in to deliver consistent, smooth and authentic flavour.

A large range of 15 flavours is available and SKE have sent all of these over for us to review!

Many thanks to SKE for sending the Sikary S6000 range over for review, let’s see how they perform!

As always, all views are my own…

Design and Build Quality

If you are a Crystal Bar user, you will find that these are a lot bigger than you are used to, and they are a different shape too to the pen styled Crystal Bars, with more of a rounded box mod styling to them.

There’s quite a glossy texture to the finish on each one of these, which does give it a slight slippery feel. But I must say I never had an issue with one of these slipping out of my hand during use!

In fact, they are quite comfortable to hold, and there’s a nice, rounded edge that sits nicely in the palm of my hand. No rough or sharp edges to be found on one of these kits!

The Sikary S6000 devices measure in at 93.5mm x 47.5mm x 25mm, and that large size is down to accommodating an internal 2ml tank, a large rechargeable 800mAh battery and the 10ml refill container that slots in on the side.

Handily, thanks to the ‘space capsule’ design on the refill container, you can easily see how much e-liquid you have remaining, so it’s easy to tell when you are running out of e-liquid and it’s time to grab a new one.

Also, the top of the device features a fixed, duck-bill styled mouthpiece and on the base of the device is the USB-C charging port.

Quick Start

To get started with a Sikary S6000 kit, all you need to do is install the refill container before use.

Installing the container is as easy as removing the protective stickers from the pod and snapping it into the side of the Sikary S6000. It slots in with a satisfying click, and you only need to tilt the device to the left to refill the tank.

An auto draw system is used, so no need to push any buttons or anything to vape, simply take a draw on the device.

A downside to this kit is that I can’t see the refill containers available for purchase separately, so once you have finished the e-liquid you need to dispose of the whole device. That is quite a lot of waste!

Charging is via USB-C and the charging port is found on the base of the device, as mentioned earlier in the review there is no USB-C cable included in the box so you will need to purchase one if you don’t have one to hand.

Flavours

Strawberry Ice

With this one, there’s more of a candied strawberry flavour to it than a realistic fruit one, and this is packing a lot of sweetener in the blend.

It’s very sweet in fact, and I’m almost thankful for the menthol element which sweeps in and stops it from becoming overpoweringly sweet.

The strawberry flavour did remind me of a chewit sweet, which I do enjoy, and I didn’t find the flavour blend to be too offensive overall.

Watermelon Strawberry

I found this one quite hard to vape if I’m going to be honest, due to the watermelon flavouring tasting too artificial for me.

The watermelon is quite strong and dominant in this flavour blend too, relegating the chewit-like strawberry flavouring to more of a background flavour note.

Of course, the sweetener dial is also turned up to the max here, which I’m sure will please you if you have got a sweet tooth!

Vanilla Tobacco

As a fan of tobacco vape flavours, I’m pleased to see one present here as part of the Sikary S6000 range, and it makes a nice change from the fruity flavours on offer!

It’s a bit of a basic tobacco flavour with rich and earthy elements to it, and the vanilla flavouring blends in quite well providing a nice and creamy undertone and smooth exhale to this.

Now it does lack any real distinct throat hit which I feel is key to a great tobacco flavour, but throat hit is quite hard to provide when nicotine salt is in the mix, as it is designed to offer craving satisfaction without a harsh throat hit.

I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to tobacco flavours, but if you are switching over from cigarettes or just want a break from over-sweetened fruit blends, then this is worth having a puff on!

Watermelon Ice

This is too much artificial watermelon for me! I’m not the biggest fan of it in the first place, and the flavouring and sweetness is quite strong here.

It’s like a watermelon sweet flavour, laden with plenty of sweetener, and a cool breeze from the menthol right from the end. Pretty much just like the other watermelon ice disposable vape flavours out there!

So if you like those then you know what you’re getting. Just not for me thanks!

Kiwi Passion Fruit

Oooh yes, a pretty nice tropical blend here!

It’s interesting to see Kiwi and Passionfruit being given the spotlight with no guava present, but this means that the kiwi flavouring takes a bit more prominence here rather than being relegated to an undertone.

Kiwi blends in well with the strong, sweet and juicy passionfruit flavouring giving a nice contrast of two fruit flavours.

This has been mixed very well and is something I was happy to toot away on all day!

Cola

I love a good cola flavouring and SKE have done well with this one, it was my pick of the Sikary S6000 range!

I get more of a cola sweet flavour here, rather than a cola drink flavour, with the blend being quite bang on the money. I was impressed with the balance of cola flavouring and sweetener, making for an easy all day vape for me.

Coconut Melon

Well, this is something a little different and certainly the first time I have experienced a blend of coconut and melon in a disposable vape!

I get a mouthwatering honeydew melon flavouring with just a hint of sweet coconut at the end that just left me wanting even more from this blend. It just tantalizes the tastebuds ever so slightly, and needs a good long draw to really bring it out.

I love coconut flavour and I would have loved a slightly stronger coconut out of it here rather than it being a subtle undertone on the exhale!

Blueberry Raspberries

I didn’t have the best experience with the Blueberry Raspberries flavour in the SKE Crystal Originals range, so I approached this one with a bit of trepidation.

Actually, I was quite surprised here! The blend was far better, with a delicious juicy blend of blueberry and raspberry flavouring.

Quite a thick texture and mouthfeel to this one too, with a good balance of sweetener, and the syrupy texture reminded me of jam!

This was a very pleasant, fruity little number for me.

Triple Mango

If you like a strong mango flavour, you can’t really go wrong with this one!

There’s a full on hit of mango flavouring right from the off, and it actually tastes quite authentic as well. I have found that a lot of ‘triple mango’ flavours can taste quite artificial if there’s too much flavour present, but that isn’t the case here.

There is a lot of sweetener present in the blend however and I can definitely pick up on that.

It’s very strong and sweet from the get go, and it leaves me with a very sweet aftertaste long after I’ve finished vaping it.

Raspberry Mint

This is a pretty decent blend!

I felt that the raspberry tasted quite authentic, rather than harsh and artificial. It’s quite a naturally sweet flavour, and it provides sourness too which blends in very well with a crisp mint flavouring.

Quite like a summery raspberry mojito!

I thought that it was one of the lesser artificially sweetened ones in the Sikary S6000 range, leaving the natural flavourings to shine through here. A good mix of raspberry and mint!

Menthol

I like a good menthol vape however this was a bit of a disappointing one for me.

It was more of a cold, heavily sweetened flavour experience for me and it was lacking in a real crisp mint flavour. There is mint flavouring there, but it seemed to be drowned out in a lot of artificial sweetener.

The icy menthol hit is quite sharp and nips away at the back of my throat, which I find to be quite pleasant, as I do like a good strong kick of menthol!

Cherry Ice

To me, this tasted like a candied cherry but it’s one that I found to be very vapeable.

It’s quite a well rounded candied cherry, with a deep, bold rich texture to it, and a good hit of menthol at the end that really comes to the fore when taking a long and slow inhale on this one.

I was quite happily puffing away on this one on a recent weekend away!

Lemon Lime

Quite a straightforward lemon and lime blend with this one, it does the job but there’s nothing here that makes it stand out from the rest really.

I get zesty lemon and lime flavouring, which is quite strong and reminds me of a lemon and lime ice pop, with both flavours intertwining right from the off.

And of course, there’s a fair bit of sweetener here too, which almost makes the lemon flavouring take on a sherbet like feel.

Bull Ice

This is an energy drink styled flavour with a menthol twist at the end.

It’s a bit of a bargain basement cheap energy drink flavour though, it does taste very artificial (much like the real thing!) but I found there was quite a sharp and nasty chemical aftertaste that blends in with the menthol at the end.

I do actually quite like energy drink flavours (one of my guilty pleasures) but the sharp chemical taste to this actually put me off of it.

Mineral Water

I don’t really get mineral water e-liquid flavours or the appeal of them, I’ve tried a few and they don’t really do it for me.

That being said, I know people who are big fans of this particular flavour profile, my sister being one of those!

I have to say this didn’t really taste of anything other than sweetener to me, it kind of reminded me of vaping pure VG.

There’s just a light, sweet taste to this and I think there’s a very small hint of lemon zest in the background, but that is about it.

I guess if you aren’t into flavour or are just looking for something very light to vape then this will be for you!

How Does The SKE Sikary S6000 perform?

These are designed for mouth to lung vaping, and a mouth to lung vape is exactly what you will get out of one of these, along with a fairly decent level of vapour.

Not sure what mouth to lung means? Then check out our guide to vaping styles!

In terms of battery life, the 800mAh battery was enough to power me through the day and the average user of one of these should expect even more out of it.

No battery life indicator is found on the device, so it’s hard to tell exactly how much battery life is remaining.

The vape kind of gets quite weak suddenly, then it quickly dies off altogether necessitating a charge!

Pros

  • Large range of different flavours to choose from
  • Beginner friendly, easy to set up and use
  • More vaping from one of these than a standard disposable
  • Easy to see how much e-liquid is left in the refill container
  • Rechargeable kit

Cons

  • Pods aren’t available to purchase separately, so the whole device needs to be disposed of once the refill container is finished.
  • Fixed airflow and no adjustable wattage settings
  • Mouth to lung vaping only
  • No battery life indicator

Final Verdict

You certainly get a lot of vaping for your money with a Sikary S6000 kit! There’s a decent amount of e-liquid included here and it’s easy enough to set one of these up and get going thanks to the user friendly design.

All the most popular disposable flavours are covered here, so you are sure to find your favourite. And it’s good to see a tobacco one making its way into this range too!

Definitely worth considering one of these if you use disposable vapes but don’t want to make the jump to refillable pod systems, as for the price of two disposable vapes you can get around six to eight times more vaping.

That is better for the environment and your wallet overall!
