Why is airflow important when you vape?

One of the best things about vaping is that it is a completely customisable experience. Traditional cigarettes have a limited and fixed airflow. What Does a Change in Airflow Actually Do?

The amount of airflow allowed through your device can greatly change the experience of your vape. The airflow’s job is simple: to allow air to move freely from your coil to your mouth.

The higher the airflow is, the cooler the vape. When you allow a maximum airflow, you can expect to experience a smoother and cooler cloud with less flavour. This happens because when you ignite your device, the juice immediately vaporizes on the coil. When the vapour contacts the air, it cools down the temperature of your cloud before you inhale. A higher airflow will ensure a cooler cloud, but when you cool it down, you will lose a bit of flavour. Because of this, a higher airflow can decrease the amount of juice required, because it remains on the coils for longer.

A lower airflow will give you more flavour from your e-liquid. When less air contacts the coils, it forces the vapour out quicker and it becomes warmer. When it’s forced out quicker, the flavour comes out fuller and ticker than when using a larger airflow.
